I have a small collection of vintage cameras (4 to be exact), so when I saw this idea from photojojo, I went nuts! Can't wait to try it out!
How To Do It:
through the viewfinderYou’ll need two cameras for this trick: one (preferably digital) to take the picture and another to aim through. Most people seem to favor cameras with waist-level viewfinders, such as the old Kodak Duaflex, because they’re large and easy to see.
Frame your shot using the older camera (call it Camera B), then aim your digital camera (Camera A) at the viewfinder and take the picture. Afterwards, crop the photo to take out everything but the viewfinder image.

Workin' Girl
Working lots of late nights lately, so I'm not very inspired when I get home to blog. Please forgive me! I will be back to normal once I get a few of the tradeshow campaigns I'm working on completed. One of them was finished today. So many details and pieces...my brain is fried, but relieved that everything in that campaign has been sent to print. Maybe I'll get some pictures to share of it next week!
Hope your week is off to a great start!

Greenwich Wallet
I have been lusting over this wallet from Banana Republic forever and noticed today that it finally went on sale! I decided to spend the money on my patio instead though, so it will have to wait. Please don't let it sell out before I'm ready to get it!
***Update- (4/1/08) I am sooooo very sad. It already sold out! It took me over a year to find a wallet I wanted to buy, too! Back to the drawing boards I guess.

Potential
Great commercial by Monster! Are you reaching YOUR potential? I'm not. There's only so much one can do in a day, though, right?

Pumps
These BCBG pumps are too cute! Aren't they? Neutral enough to wear with so many different outfits. Dress them up, or dress them down.

Brown Leather Handbag
Love this tote by Etsy seller, The Leather Store. I have a feeling I will be thinking of this one for days, if not weeks to come. I think it would make a great weekend bag!

Nelson, NV

Austin and I headed out to Nelson, Nevada for an evening of shooting...guns and cameras! Okay, so I wasn't as hip to the gun shooting! I was EXTREMELY hesitant to be anywhere near a gun, but Austin helped me get over that fear and I was able to actually shoot the frickin' thing! My favorite part though was driving around the bend and coming across the coolest little town! We were being watched so I didn't get as many shots as I would have liked. I am definitely going back for more!

Chandelier
We recently moved our offices downstairs into more of an agency-like environment. Most of the desks have a large whiteboard hanging above them. I am heavily considering getting this little vinyl chandelier to put on mine. What do you think? Too much? Fun idea? My desk is coordinated in colors to match my blog (yellow, white & black), by the way, with clear acrylic accessories.

Photoshop Disasters
I have been looking for this old example of bad photoshopping forever! Thanks to swissmiss and Photoshop Disasters, I have found it once again! How horrified do you think the VS designer was when this little beauty went to print?

P.S. I see an optical illusion on the example above. The gentleman's eyes appear to be wide open to me, which would give him quite a funny expression. Obviously I am mistaking his eyelids for the whites of his eyes!

Blogging Lull
A quick note to apologize for the slow down in posts on my blog. I'm currently sick with the worst flu I have had in years...uggh! Can't wait for it to be over!

The Fong Wedding
I have blogged about Jessica Claire's shoot of the Gary & Melissa Fong wedding but I just stumbled upon video of it by Julie Hill and fell in love all over again. Such a celebration of love and happiness! Definitely worth a look! Watch it here.
