Room Ideas

I'm wanting to get matching table lamps and nightstands and am debating between these 2 table and lamp ideas. I would most likely switch the red shades to white. Just throwing the ideas around at the moment and haven't looked extensivley yet, so this is very preliminary. What do you think? And, if you know of other affordable, fun ideas, please let me know!

Kashi All Natural Entree

I just tried Kashi for the first time the other day and am now a confirmed fan! I had the Lemon Rosemary Chicken
Chicken marinated with lemon and rosemary, grilled then sliced. Served with baby Portobello mushrooms and sugar snap peas over our Kashi® 7 Whole Grains Pilaf, and topped with lemon rosemary sauce. Soooo yummy! Can't wait to try the other entrees! Anyone else like these?

Manuel just bought a nice looking candle, Apothia, that is an AIGA design winner. They look fantastic! Can't wait for Manuel to let me know how they smell!

I love flowers so much that every once in awhile I buy them for myself. :) I am not usually a daisy type girl unless they are gerberas but I thought these looked so cheery!

I woke up this morning and watched the documentary of the famous racing horse, Barbaro. Nothing like bawling your eyes out first thing in the morning! What an amazing & beautiful horse and a heartbreaking, sad story.

I recently discovered lululemon athletica workout attire and absolutely love it! Unfortunately, it is not for sale online and nobody is carrying it in my area! Thank goodness I was able to get 2 tops and one pair of shorts while I was in Tucson!

This beauty of a chair was awaiting me in my email inbox and I literally gasped upon seeing it. Maybe I should have studied interior design instead of graphic design, eh? I have such an obsession for objects of beauty amongst ones living spaces.

On the subject of saving money, has anyone tried any of the online banks for saving, like Emigrant Direct? At 5.05% it sounds pretty appealing.

Scandinavian-inspired forms with a clean satin finish.

Also nice is their Classic Century Dinnerware, originally designed in 1952 by Eva Zeisel. I love the subtle, sensual curves of this set, especially on the serving pieces!

I ran over to Lowe's this afternoon to purchase a laser level to hang my new art prints with and saw this pretty little plant. Had to have it! Isn't it the sweetest little thing?

Wonderful photo exhibit in Nepal. Photographer Sue Carpenter, organized a photography exhibition in the country to help disadvantaged (abused and neglected)girls find their voice. Sue taught the children photography in hopes of giving them usable skills, creativity and confidence. Amazing project!
